Artsake Gallery of Tolland, Connecticut, has been in business for twenty years, providing custom picture framing and gallery displays of art work in various media.
There is a wide selection of framing and matting materials from which the customer may choose. These materials are acid-free for the protection of the art work. Special archival and conservation materials are also available.
Original art work, prints, photographs, posters, mirrors, needlework and even shadow boxes are all carefully prepared to display each piece in the best manner possible. Wedding invitations are creatively framed and make a memorable gift for a bride and groom. The custom framing of children’s art work not only proudly preserves their efforts, but, again, makes treasured gifts.
Jennifer, the owner of Artsake Gallery, also produces her own works of art – hand-made lampwork glass beads, some made into jewelry and book marks; and oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. She brings not only her Fine Arts degree, but years of additional training and experience to the selection and completion of the custom-framing process for each customer’s order.
Artsake Gallery also provides a showcase for local artists. The Gallery is located in the old Leonard’s Corner Firehouse. The walls of the frame shop area hold a changing array of artists’ work, and several times a year additional parts of the firehouse are open to the public for special showings.
